What the free checklist includes
- Capture the basics: dispute ID, reason code, deadline, amount

The checklist
1. Capture the basics (do this first)
- Save the Stripe dispute ID and a link to the dispute in your Dashboard
- Record the reason code shown by Stripe
- Note the response deadline (date and timezone)
- Record the disputed amount and the original charge date
2. Match the customer and order
- Confirm the customer email matches the Stripe charge
- Write down the product name and price at the time of purchase
- Find the receipt or invoice reference (if you have one)
3. Start your delivery / access proof
- Note whether you can show delivery or access (download link, login, file access)
- Save the refund policy that was active when they bought (URL or screenshot)
4. Before you do anything else
- Keep a neutral tone in any customer message you draft
- Verify every fact and timestamp — do not guess
- Redact anything sensitive that isn't required
